Terms and conditions of sale

Plain-language terms for ordering checks, business checks, business deposit slips and check envelopes from Checks.net. By placing an order you agree to them.

1. Proofs and approval

Every personalised order is produced from the proof you approve. Please check the business name, address, bank name, routing and account numbers, starting check number and logo. You are responsible for the accuracy of the approved proof; we are responsible for printing exactly what it shows. Production starts only after approval.

2. Bank information

You confirm that you are authorised to order checks on the account you supply. We print the MICR line to ANSI X9.100 from the numbers you provide or the voided check you upload. We recommend uploading a voided check.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown at checkout in US dollars and include the personalisation shown on the proof. Payment is taken when the order is placed. Approved commercial accounts may be offered Net-30 terms at our discretion.

4. Production and shipping

Orders approved by 2:00 PM Eastern ship the same business day; later approvals ship the next business day. We commit to a ship date, not an arrival date; transit time is the carrier's. See shipping.

5. Reprints, returns and refunds

Our errors are reprinted at no charge. Errors on an approved proof are reprinted at a reduced price. Damage or loss in transit is reshipped. Unopened stock items may be returned within 30 days. Full details on the returns page.

6. Cancellations and changes

An order can be cancelled or changed free of charge until it goes to press. Call (800) 385-1363 immediately; once printed, personalised checks cannot be cancelled.

7. Limitation of liability

Our liability for any order is limited to reprinting the order or refunding the amount paid for it. We are not liable for indirect losses such as bank fees, missed payments or lost time arising from a delayed or incorrect order, except where the law does not allow this limitation.
