Privacy policy
To print checks we need the same information that is printed on them: your business name, address and bank numbers. This page explains what Checks.net collects, why, how it is protected, and who never sees it.
What we collect
- Order details: business name, address, phone, email, the text you want printed, your logo file.
- Bank details: bank name, routing number and account number, or the voided check you upload. These are used solely to print the MICR line and bank information on your checks, business deposit slips and related items.
- Payment: handled by our payment processor over an encrypted connection. Checks.net does not store full card numbers.
- Account and usage data: login, order history, and standard server logs and cookies needed to run the store and measure anonymous site usage.
How we use it
To produce your order, proof it, ship it, support it and make reorders of business checks painless (we keep your approved layout on file so the next batch matches the last). We may email you about your order and, if you opt in, about check-related offers. We do not sell, rent or trade your information.
Who sees it
Production staff who print your order, the carrier who delivers it (name and address only), and the payment processor. Bank numbers are not shared with anyone else and are not used for any purpose other than printing your checks.
How it is protected
Encrypted transmission (TLS) on every page, restricted access inside our production system, servers located in the United States, and secure destruction of misprints and proofs.
Cookies
Session cookies keep your cart and login working; analytics cookies count visits anonymously. You can block cookies in your browser; the cart will not work without the session cookie.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to records we must keep for completed orders). Use the contact form or call (800) 385-1363.
